Helping others was the true passion of Rob Millisor, one of the owner/developers of Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV). In October of 2015, Rob was on a humanitarian trip to the earthquake-stricken area of Langtang, Nepal, when he suffered a heart attack and sadly passed away. Rob was very physically fit and unaware of any health issues.
In honor of Rob, BGV Gives (BGV’s philanthropic program) will host their third annual family-friendly walk/run on June 8, 2019, to raise funds in support of heart health programs, education, and research. Both a 5k trail route and a 1-mile town route will be offered to walk participants.
Online registration closes at 10:00 PM on Thursday, June 6th
If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact Deb Edwards at email@example.com or call (970) 547-8748
With the support from Breckenridge Grand Vacations, 100% of every dollar received at this event will be contributed to The Rob Millisor Heart Health Fund at The Summit Foundation to support heart health programs, education and research.
Each Independence Day, Breckenridge kicks off the party with a 10K trail run, followed by the Firecracker 50 mountain bike race and the Main Street parade. Family activities, live music, a performance by the National Repertory Orchestra and an extraordinary fireworks display close out the night. Don’t miss Breckenridge Creative Arts’ Street Arts Festival, which celebrates street, pavement and graffiti arts with outdoor murals, installations, workshops and pop-up art.

The Grapes Are Calling from Breckenridge
The Breckenridge Food and Wine Festival brings you a unique, wine-tasting experience. Main Street Station Plaza and The Village at Breckenridge, (at the base of Peak Nine), transform into a beautiful, mountain-side vineyard starring an array of varietals created by top wineries. From the soft and smooth to the unabashedly bold, guests will get more than their fair share of delicious sips.

Bacon & Bourbon Fusion
Bacon is the most loved food in the universe and the route to all things swine and divine. Add in the quintessential American liquor, bourbon; mind blown. These indulgences come together for Breckenridge Hogfest – Bacon & Bourbon.
Meat connoisseurs will be able to taste their way through a spectrum of pork samples, premium whiskeys, single malt scotches and barrel-aged spirits while enjoying live music and mixology below Peak Nine. We want to speak to palates of all distinctions and our golden rule will be to feature the best of the best to the brownest of the brown.

Join us September 6th, 7th, and 8th for the 2019 Breckenridge Oktoberfest! Presented by GoBreck. More information: http://www.gobreck.com/events/breckenridge-oktoberfest#horizontalTabEvents1
Breckenridge hosts the largest Oktoberfest street party in the Rocky Mountains. The September street party is where Munich meets the mountains, featuring:
New 2019 collectible beer stein
More than three-dozen genuine German cuisine and brew vendors
German themed games including Hammerschlagan
Bavarian lederhosen, Oompah and polka dancing
A peak foliage weekend packed full of sunshine and fun for all ages
The weekend is full of, you guessed it, beer, but we didn’t forget about those under the drinking age. Breckenridge Oktoberfest is full of entertainment for everyone; make sure to visit face-painting stations, get some pre-festival exercise at the 5k run and test your skills at a wide variety of German themed games, including the popular Hammerschlagen. See more exciting activities with the Oktoberfest Insider’s Guide to prepare for the memorable weekend ahead.
Due to the extensive food and beverage offerings, we ask that you please leave your four legged friends at home as well as any outside alcoholic beverages. Oktoberfest patrons must be 21 to consume the wide variety of beverages offered, don’t forget your ID if you plan on partaking.
PROST! That means “cheers” in German.
